California’s Coast Ranges extend for over 600 miles, more than two-thirds the length of the state —including the coast redwoods of the Santa Cruz Mountains. Through an illustrated lecture, John Muir Laws will explore the region and its conservation challenges. Whether you’re a botanist, birder or hiker, don’t miss this great opportunity to enrich your next hike along the coast!

The program will be followed by a chance to mingle with representatives from the Bay Trail, Ridge Trail, Water Trail, and Coastwalk California, who will help you discover the next great local trail to explore!
